The Chief Judge of Delta state, Justice Marshall Umukoro, has administered the oath of office to  Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the new Governor on Friday, 29th May, 2015.

The new Governor of Delta State was sworn in amidst a mammoth crowd at the Cenotaph, Okpanam
road, Asaba the Delta State Capital.

Governor Okowa won the Delta State Governorship election 2015 in April, polling a total of 724,680 votes on the platform of the PDP.
