The co-pilot immediately took charge of the flight which was then diverted to Syracuse, New York, as
flight attendants tried resuscitating the captain.
Capt. Michael Johnston had a double-bypass heart surgery in 2006, but had otherwise been in good health.
The plane was carrying 152 passengers and crew member at the time of the incident.
Hats off to the co-pilot for landing the plane!
Only God knows how those who were on the plane would feel when they learnt of the sad incidence. It's better imagined than experienced!
May his soul rest in peace!
