The delegates who were warmly received by His Excellency, Immanuel Emoefe, expressed their appreciation to the Isoko philanthropist-par-excellence who has distinguished himself from the crowd in terms of the overwhelming support given to the underprivileged in Isoko and nationwide.
In her words, the President General of the women group, Chief Mrs Josephine Ovuorie stated, " we are glad to be associated with you. The 10million naira relief materials you donated to Isoko flood victims in 2012 is still very fresh in our minds. Thank you for being a man that has the Isoko people at heart. Thank you for being a gift to Isoko nation.
EIAN's secretary, Mrs R. Akako, said the purpose of their visit was to invite His Excellency to the group's Joint Consultative Forum (JCF) slated for February 20th 2016, where prominent sons and daughters of Isoko extract with sterling leadership qualities will be honoured
In turn, His Excellency expressed gratitude for their visit and said that he looks forward to partnering with the women NGO group in touching the lives of the needy in Isoko.
Present at the meeting were the four members representing EIAN, Chief Mrs Josephine Ovuorie; Mrs Ruth Bake (JP), Mrs Rebecca Akako and Yours Sincerely. Hon Barr. Mrs Orezi Esievo, Member, representing Isoko South 1 at the Delta State House of Assembly was one of the dignitaries with His Excellency.
Others were Major General Muyiwa A. Jubril (Retd), Director, Portplus Limited.
