UPDATE: Obasanjo Was Expelled For Anti-Party- PDP

The Ogun State chapter of PDP has issued a statement countering the claim of Obasanjo's voluntary exit from PDP by his dramatic card-tearing
show.

According to TheCable, Bayo Dayo, the State chairman, told journalists in Abeokuta this morning that

“the totality of the executive, leaders and members of PDP family in the Ogun hereby state categorically as from today Monday 16 February, 2015, Obasanjo Aremu Olusegun stands expelled and excommunicated from the party thereby losing all rights previous, privileges and respect of our teeming party members.” 

He said Obasanjo’s ward had earlier sent a letter dated February 12, 2015 to express concerns at his “anti-party activities” and “uncomplimentary utterances” targeted at the leader of the party, President Goodluck Jonathan.

Methinks, Obasanjo pre-empted his expulsion after the 'warning' and took the 'dramatic' way out. Baba na baba!
