COMPLETE ALBUM: Major-General N. O. Amarie Buries Mum in Grand Style

Few weeks after Napoleon Owariuwoma Amarie was decorated as a Major General, he buries mum in grand style.

The simple lifestyled-General and his siblings lost their mum, late Mrs Sussanah Oghenerobo Amarie (aka Ma Onulo), on the 23rd of November, 2013 to the cold hands of death. The deceased died at the age of 70.

All through the christmas period and the new year, preparations were in top gear to give a befitting burial to
the woman who has left a great vacuum in the hearts of her beloved children and aged husband.

Former Military Governor of South-Eastern State (now Cross Rivers State), Major General Paul Ufuoma Omu (Rtd), and other prominent Nigerians were at the church service held in honour of Ma Onulo at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Araya.

Mama's  son in law, Odafe(behind the ladies), Viano, Phillida, and Flora.


The deceased was interred at her husband's house, Pa Samson Amarie's compound at Araya/Aviara in Isoko South LGA, Delta State on Friday, 7th of February, 2014, amidst tears, prayers and good wishes from family members, friends and well-wishers.

After the internment, guests were entertained at a lavish party held at the open field of the Primary School in the town.

There was a heavy presence of armed soldiers walking up and down the town to scare miscreants who hanged around the fringes of the venue.

Chief Solomon Ogba, President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).

Hon. Prince Johnson Obokparo Erijo, member representing Isoko South in Delta State House of Assembly Constituency II.

Hon. Joel - Onowakpo Thomas Ewomazino, Executive Chairman at Delta State Board of Internal Revenue.

ITHIHIKPEBE group's US based Director General, Mr. Ambrose Okuhor.
