Man, 44, dies after falling from Stadium this morning

A 44-year-old man died this morning after falling from the Olympic Park stadium in Stratford. Detectives say the death is being treated as unexplained.

Police and paramedics were called at 7.30am, where
they found the man unresponsive. London Ambulance Service pronounced him dead at about 8am.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said officers believe they know who the dead man is, but that he has not yet been formally identified. They are now trying to track down his next of kin.
