Photos: ALGON Chairman/LG Boss Attacked, Vehicles Damaged in Communal Clash

The Chairman of the Association of Local Goverments Of Nig. (ALGON), Delta State Chapter and Chief Security Officer of Isoko South Local Government Area, Hon. Sir Itiako Constantine Ikpokpo had his Range Rover SUV terribly damaged in a communal clash between
youths from Enwhe and Igbide today.

The Chairman and his entourage had gone on a peace keeping mission when the rampaging youths from Igbide attacked his car, breaking all the windscreen.

Condemning the act, Barr. Afahokor, Duncan, administrator of a pan-Isoko facebook group, Umeh Need Road Stated, "...the Chairman does not even have an official car and we were told he does not charge the Council for the use of his personal vehicle bought with his Osusu money and we were made to understand that the Chairman's vehicle was damaged during the attack. The State Government should intervene immediately".


Some other victims of the attack are his driver, Mr Dickson Ovetiri, Hon. Efe Okolosi, Mr Guyman Paulo who lost valuables in the process, Mr Sam Iduma whose car also got damaged and other victims who got hurt in the process.

Two people were also reportedly killed in the attack.
