Pictured above is Nigeria former Head of State, General Yakubu "Jack" Dan-Yumma Gowon, leaving an OAU Kampala Summit of Heads of States and
Government on 29 July 1975 after being informed that he had been overthrown.

He was overthrown by General Murtala Ramat Mohammed.
