Photo Of Man Attempting Suicide On An Electricity Pole This Morning At Lekki Phase1

A twitter user,  @kenegbas, posted the above picture of an unidentified man who climbed an electricity pole at about 7.am this morning in Adebisi Ogunniyi Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, with the hope of committing suicide.

According to the eye-witness, his anger against the  world is that he has no money or food to eat and so wants to end it all. Police from Maroko Division
reportedly arrived the scene but seemed confused about how to help. The man has been up there for well over two hours.

Seriously speaking, Nigerians thinking suicide and the way they go about it lately is kinda funny. If it's not planning to jump off some bridge into shallow waters, it is climbing electricity poles that may not have sparked power lately. Una go dey alright o.

Here's hoping the appropriate emergency agencies help to save the situation.
