How Lekki Suicidal Man Finally Gets Down. He's Not Even A Nigerian! (Photos)

According to jovoflavour's on-the-spot reporter, the about 9-hours suicide drama finally ended at 3:05pm when Firefighter returned to the scene they had earlier left.

Two of their men went up a ladder and tried to bring the suicidal man from the electric pole and at some point had to knock him of his perch by hitting him
with sticks as he fought them off.

"He  clung to the pole, using his teeth to tear at the electric cables until his gums bled then jumped off and landed on a low rooftop. The firefighters went after him but before they could get to him, he had torn off one of the roof-sheets and started slitting his own throat. Blood was pouring out and the men had to wrestle him down and had his handsnd feet in cuffs".

The suicidal man who reportedly kept saying 'Alhamdulillah' as they tried rescuing him earlier has said his name is Frederick Gino from Cameroun and he didn't know how he got to Nigeria.

He has been taken to Eti-Osa Primary Health Care Centre where he's been treated by doctors.

  1. Seems suicidal attempt at Lekki axis will start trending soon. Any news on why the firefighters left initially?
