UPDATE: MTN Removes 'Stolen' Callertunes from Website while begging Lawyers for time

The copyright infringement case against MTN by the Barr. R. A. Igelige-led legal team is gathering momentum by the day.

Recall that the Nigerian Copyright Commission, NCC, invited the legal team over today, September

3rd 2015 as I reported few days ago here. The lawyers have honoured the invitation  where further
details of the alleged infringement was  requested and the next line of action will the invitation of  MTN as promised by the Commission's Director of Enforcement, Mr Austin Amodu.

While there, a letter arrived from the Communication Company, MTN, requesting the legal team to 'delay further action'. As at press time, the legal team hasn't received their official copy of MTN's letter as it was unfortunately forwarded to an incorrect address written in the copy received at NCC.

Meanwhile, MTN's letter arrived few hours after the legal team has discovered that the communication company has removed all four of Baba 2010's alleged 'stolen' musical works which they have been using as callertunes/ringtone for well over three years. See photos of the callertunes before their removal here

Could this 'removal' be what they call tampering with/ destroying/ concealing Evidence in law? Biko, somebody help me!
