Here's what has happened to Yunusa, Ese Oruru's abductor

Yunusa Yellow, the alleged abductor of 14-year-old Ese Oruru is currently cooling his heels in detention in Bayelsa state.

A police source told the Nation that Yunusa was handed over to the command in Bayelsa State on
Wednesday, March 2, the same day Ese was brought back to the state.
"He is being detained at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID),” he added.

Yunusa is currently been investigated for allegedly abducting Ese in August 2015, from Opolo, Yenagoa local government area of Bayelsa state when she was 13 and allegedly converting her to Islam for marriage purposes.

He was arrested in Kano and initially taken to the police headquarters, Abuja. However, as the law stipulates, he had to be transferred to the Bayelsan police command because that was where the crime allegedly took place.

The source said the police had been mandated to carry out thorough investigations of the suspect.
