R&B Singer,Chris Brown, Gets 1,000 Extra Hours Community Service For Lies and More Lies

Chris Brown arrives in court in Los Angeles on August 16, 2013.
24-year-old R&B star, Chris Brown was originally sentenced to 180 days of community labour (1,440 hours) after his probation stemming from the 2009 assault on his then girlfriend and fellow singer, Rihanna, on
the eve of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and was to complete his labour in Virginia.

Yesterday, Los Angeles Superior Court judge, James Brandlin, restored his probation citing "significant discrepancies" in his work record and believing the singer violated his probation by submitting bogus community service reports - in one case even swearing he was picking up trash in Virginia when he was actually on a private jet to Cancun.

The reinstated probation order was conditional on Brown completing 1,000 hours of community labor, in addition to the 180 days he had already been ordered to perform.

Chris would be put to work in one of four programs - Caltrans (aka highway cleanup), beach cleanup, graffiti removal, probation alternative work services (PAWS) - a program run by the probation department - the judge today ordered that Chris' service must be supervised by L.A. County officials and not officials from his home state of Virginia.

Chris must also report to a probation officer within the next 48 hours. He did not look happy in court.

However the singer's lawyer contested the allegation, saying prosecutors "chose to ignore the actual evidence in an effort to find someone, anyone, to say he was not working."

Chris' probation will finally end in August 2014. One more year to go.

How are the mighty fallen!
