British Airways plane bursts into flames on runway at Vegas airport

The British Airways flight heading to Gatwick burst into flames on runway at Vegas airport as it prepared for take-off on Tuesday evening, DailyMail has reported.

The plane was loaded with 159 passengers on the
tarmac at McCarran Airport and was taxiing towards the runway when it suddenly burst into flames.
The pilot averted disaster by bringing the plane taxiing at 90mph to a complete standstill in just nine seconds - saving the lives of everyone on board.

Passengers were forced to jump down inflatable slides to escape and the plane was quickly evacuated in the middle of the runway.

14 injured passengers were taken to local hospitals to be treated for smoke-inhalation and minor injuries.
