Photos of Wike and Amaechi voting Amidst Tight Security in Rivers Rerun

The Rivers State legislative rerun elections takes centre stage today, March 19, with key political figures in the state slogging it out for a place at the National Assembly, House of Representatives and State Assembly.

The rerun legislative election will be held in the three
Senatorial Districts, 12 House of Representatives Seats and 22 of the 32 state assembly seats.

Below is a photo of Governor Wike as he arrives at Obio Akpor Ward 9, Unit 7, amidst tight security at 12.15pm. He did his accreditation and casted his votes shortly after.

Next is a photo of Nigeria’s Minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi, as he is seen casting his vote at unit 14, Ward 8, Ubima, in Ikwerre LGA at 12.30pm.
