This year’s wealth audit is female-dominated and stemmed
from earnings between June 2012 and June 2013. Seven of the list members are women. As in
past year, athletes who ranked on the overall Celebrity 100 are excluded to
keep the list more Hollywood
focused.
1. Lady Gaga, age 27,
$80 million.
Ironically, Gaga once again ranks as the Under
30 celebrity who earned the most money shortly after landing second
place on Forbes’ annual Celebrity 100 list.
The Queen Monster would have earned even more if she had
been able to finish her
Born This Way Ball Tour which was curtailed by a hip
injury. The tour grossed $168 million through January; had Gaga been able to
finish it, she would have likely topped $200 million.
Shortly after the singer underwent hip surgery this year,
she rolled out in a custom-made 24-karat gold-plated wheelchair.
2. Justin Bieber, age
19, is in second place with $58 million.
Since appearing on the cover of Forbes last year, the
Canadian crooner has toured the world and earned another $58 million.
3. Taylor Swift, age 23, is close on his tail.
$55 million.
Swift's latest album, Red, sold 1.2 million copies in
its first week. Those are almost unheard-of numbers in today's troubled music
world. Swift also earns big from endorsement deals with companies like Diet
Coke, Sony and Covergirl.
4. Calvin Harris, age 29,
$46 million.
Discovered on Myspace eight year ago as a singer-songwriter, Harris has morphed into a world-renowned DJ and producer. While the majority of his money comes from performing, he also earns from writing and producing songs like Rihanna's Grammy-winning "We Found Love".

5. Rihanna, age 25,
$43 million.
The Barbados-born singer released a new
album, Unapologetic. The record has gone platinum and netted hit singles
like "Diamonds" and "Stay.
6. Katy Perry, age 28,
$39 million.
Teenage Dream made her the only act besides Michael Jackson to have five No. 1 singles from the same album. Her 2012 biopic Part of Me added a seven-figure sum to her bottom line.

7. Jennifer Lawrence, age 22,
$26 million.
Hollywood's new It girl is the top-ranked actor on the Top-Earning Celebrities Under 30 list. She walked away from 2012 with an Oscar for Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook and one of the top-grossing movies of the year with The Hunger Games.

8. Adele, age 25,
$25 million.
The singer still sells plenty of music but without a big global tour, it was hard for her to make the Celebrity 100 this year. The new mom got plenty of attention this year for “Skyfall,” her theme for the latest Bond movie. It won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
